removing feed tube?

whats the best way to remove a power feed tube from a stock mag body?

i have access to a mig and arch welder, but NOT very skilled with them. i DO although have a steady hand with a dremel, but if i where to use them, im going to imagine a lot of heads being used.

whats your recomondations?

That SS is hard stuff. When cutting down the powerfeed tube on one of my bodies, we went through 2 metal jigsaw blades, and had to break out the sawzall to finish the job.

Turpentne (sp) will make a dull blade cut through S Steal like butter. dont ask me why. But it is a trick my dad taught me.

turpintine, like what you use for removing paint?

i want to rip off the WHOLE feedneck, not just a small chunk of it.
