    4500 vs 3000 regulators

If the burst disk was changed in a flatline 3k regulator, and you had a 4500 bottle on it and planned to use 4500psi, would that be safe? What are the fundamental differences between the 3k and 4.5k regulator? What makes one 4.5k and the other 3k?

    Thnx

I trust your recomendation Dayspring, but if you could answer the question, what makes one regulator 3000 and the other 4500? Air America regs have 3000psi stamped on them, I haven't seen any other regs with their appropriate preasure stamped on them. Are the threads different on a 4500?

      Cheers

well im not sure but im goin to put common sense to this. since there is 1500 more psi there is a lot more room for error im guessin that there might be more threads allowing it to hold in better but thats just what i think some1 please correct me if im wrong
