non ults any short stroking ?

Is there anybody with non ults having short stroking problems, I just want everyones opinion for someone who has had short stroking problems in the past with the ult and dont want to give up on mags just becase of this. Do you think I would have a better experience with the non ult x valved mag. I just want a reliable marker that will just plain shoot good and I love the mags compact size.

I only started shooting a mag about 3 months ago, and have never had any issues with short stroking. My only ball breakage problems have been due to cold weather.

non-ult...seeing as you asked for it...unlike others on the forum, I try to pay attention to what the actual person said. (I am not referring to you.)

I don't short stroke at all with my ULT, but if I try really hard, I can make it short stroke. When set up properly, I don't think it's really a problem. Mind you I never short stroked a classic valve either.
Before I went ULT, I literally couldn't short stroke even if I tried. That's running an X valve at 900 - 950 psi.

The ULT's not for everybody, so try changing bacvk to the regular on/off and see how you like that. Non ULT X-valves still rip!

Well I guess I should have mentioned I was running a preset, so anybody having these problems with a preset 750 to 850 ?

Well I'll admit that it's been a while since I ran on a preset, but I did have shortstroking problems on my classic with both a preset and adjustable.

I've had adjustables ever since I started using RT's.

A non ult RT will have a harder pull and harder return than a ULT RT. That being the case I would imagine that I'd be harder to shortstroke but I'm not certian.
