Fine tuning Level 10 (getting rid of micro leaks)

I had my level 10 tuned nicely in my classic mag, and I recently bought an Emag valve to make it RT. I had no problem switching the Level 10 over. The same size carrier worked. When I used this on my classic it would bounce much easier off my finger, but now it will bounce but hits much harder so I added 2 shims (total of 3 now). I know I also need to go to a harder spring, but would I need to remove a few shims?

I am also wondering if running 3 shims will create a micro leak in my gun. If I air it up and then turn the tank off all the pressure will slowly leak off (takes like 10-15 minutes). I have a gauge and it appears to lose about 100 psi every 2 minutes. It isn't my fittings. I freshly sealed all threads with teflon, and just replaced all the orings inside my macroline. I've even dunked it in the bathtub to see if the fittings are generating a leak.

Any clue as to where my leak is coming from? How should I setup my level 10 to get the most air tight gun?

    Thanks,

    MH.
