Help me install a Retro Valve in a Classic

I just bought a EMag valve with LX for my classic mag and I would like to know what modifications and/or steps I ned to do to put it in my gun.

You need to buy the on/off assembly & pin that measures a .750. The Emag pin you have now is too short and the gun will full auto.

Other than that, put the valve in and you're set.

Take out old valve, put in new Emag valve, air up, shoot. If it gets too reactive or goes full auto you may need to order the .750 on/off pin, I didn't have to with mine. I've heard of mixed results - you'll just have to wait and see how it does. You may need the new pin, you may not.

If the level 10 isn't tuned you may have to do that. There are countless threads about that on here so search for them.

If you already have the all brass on/off top and bottom in your valve you don't have to buy the entire assembly like Dayspring linked to. This one is much cheaper and it is all you need: http://store.airgun.com/index.cfm?ac...&categoryID=23 When you order I would also recommend going ahead and picking up a RT rebuild/parts so when an oring does wear out you'll have everything you need to fix it.

Good luck and enjoy your new toy.
