    Spyder uncocking itself!!

My friend's spyder tl's bolt keeps uncocking itself everytime we hook air up to it. For example, we screw the tank in, cock the bolt, fire, and gun makes the sound like its out of air, and then the gun uncocks itself. But we know the tank has more than plenty enough air in it as the gauge reads 2000 psi. So its no tank problem. Please help asap. Thanks.

Try turning up the velocity, make sure the tank outputs ~800 psi, take a look at the hammer oring and replace it if it's bad, the orings on the bolt and hammer needs to be lubed.

Take it apart and clean it, one drop of oil on each oring. If it still does it then replace the hammer oring. Make sure you get the correct oring for the hammer kingman part 18a or 18 b depending on the type of marker you have

Look at the sear and see if there much wear and the lookgin for words. I think its the striker that the sear catches see if its worn. If they are replace the part.

eel's right. it sounds like the sear isn't engaging the hammer (aka striker) properly. you could try to change up the springs to alleviate but my guess is that the face of the sear has worn enough that it's not catching correctly.
