I was reassembling my HALO B this morning, put batteries in it and turned it on, it wouldn't spin. I thought I had tightened everything dow too tight, so I popped it apart, loosened the three screws that hold the bottom blue piece to the top, and tried again. Still no luck.
So I take apart my other one and try the batteries, then the other board in the broken one. No luck. So I free the motor and hook up the motor, the board and the batteries alone, to see what's up. Well apparently the motor is going bad on me... It spins just fine, then it "jump" and keeps spinning. Not good.
I'm leaving for LA on Wednesday, so I don't have time for OPP to ship me a new motor, which is reasonably priced at $10. So, here are my options:
#1 - Get a new motor in LA on Thursday before the games begin Friday, and/or have OPP take a look at it. This is viable if and only if OPP is in LA AND they have time to lookj at my hopper.
#2 - Find out specifically what type of motor it is and see if I can find a replacement at RadioShack. This might be my best choice.
So, does anyone know what motor I would need at RadioShack?
Thanks ~ Dave
