unscrew the hose take the teflon tape and wrap it around the threads a few times, opposite of the way you screw it in so it doesnt come off when you screw it in, and dont wrap it too close to the edge or else it will get inside of your gun and clog the hose

lock tight keeps screws and such from falling out. There is different degrees of it but i dont think it will do anything for leaks. Your local hardware store should have some.Comment

You can use lock-tite instead of Teflon tape, and it is supposed to be better because there is no chance for getting Flakes of teflon in the valve. All you do is make sure the inner and outer thread are clean. I use a dental pick to make sure there is nothing to clog it up. Then get the blue lock-tite (or blue permatex depending on brand, just make sure it's blue). Then put one drop on the end of the male threads. Then let it wick all around the threads. Then screw it in till it is slightly tight. Let it sit for 24 hours and then the threads will not leak. Don't use too much Lock-tite or you'll have a hard time unscrewing it if you ever have to.Comment
