    scope mounting

What is the best way to mount a scope onto a mag?
We are all like raindrops falling from the sky, eventually landing on this sandy star and drying up from the heat of the sun. Even if protected by a huge umbrella, we never know what tomorrow may bring. Someday we will be blown by the wind and absorbed into the sandy earth. -Trigun

Well, you'd have to get a sight rail.... and then a scope that fits whatever type of dovetail railing the sight rail has on it. Wouldnt be hard. But, why?

I forgot to mention that I'm trying to mount it to the side so that the scope would look down the side of the barrel instead of looking down the top.

One question. Why? A scope is pretty much useless on a paintball gun. It sees much farther than you can shoot so it messes everything up, plus, unless you are playing in the woods, you don't really have time to use it. But you'd probably need to make a custom setup to use it that way.

buy scope mount rings, with a dovetail mounts, attach to scope, then attach to frame rail, which is a dovetail style base. i used to have setup like that for my squeegee, scope rings, 10rd plastic tube and stick squeegee mounted to side for easy convience..............

              sight

a buddy of mine mounted a armson prodot to the rail of his mag.
worked great. i agree a scope seems a bit over the top.
people say a red dot is good for target aquisition.
im too impatient, i zero in with the prior ball.
