what is stripped the threads or the head of the screw? but if it is the top your going to need to cut a slot on the top so a flathead screw driver can get in it.

Like rehme said if the head of the screw is striped the easiest way is to take a dremel and cut a slot then use a flat head to unscrew it. If cutting a slot would damage the area around it you can also get a tool called an easy out. You drill a hole and then stick the easy out in the hole it grips it and then you unscrew it like normal.

If you have striped threads look here: http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...hreadid=127261 I recently had the same trouble. It wasn't too hard to fix.
