    Superbolt... anyone tried it yet?

I ordered the Superbolt, and was just wondering if anyone has any success or horror stories about it. It seems as though it will be gentler on paint (like RPS Trash, erm, Flash). Anyone have any experience with this?

      It's great

I just put my new superbolt in and shot about 200 balls through it and it's awesome!! No recoil and it makes the gun sound a little different too. It should help me to keep my shot groupings closer together when rapid firing since there's no kick now. Definitely worth the money ! Just make sure to file down the rough edges on the bolt spring and use the plastic nubbins.

i ve noticed a big differance in mine. less kick seems to shoot faster (maybe i just want it to) i ve give it a thumbs up. There have been some problems with bolt stick. It has seemed to go away on mine, some have said invest in a powertube spacer kit too.

I have not chopped a single ball ever since I installed my superbolt and plastic nubbins. I have shot about 3 cases and not one chop or break.

Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

Can anyone list me some benfits? I would really like some good reasons to get one. What has it improved for you? (I've already read the advertisement so I don't need that link) Also does it make you gun any quieter? That is a big factor for me.

if u want a quieter gun make use a long ported barrel. Although a mag is a terrable choice to make quiet. My friend and i chose a mag specifically to make a loud gun... Scares teh living **** out of everyone thta its pointed at. Weve had soem pros turn and run because they thought we were much closer than we are. Pro... as in the local feild pro. Twas funny.

The main benefit is that the superbolts give you less recoil. This is a great benefit but it is not going to do much for quieting down your marker. If you want quiet, go with something like a 14" smart parts all american barrel. These have tons of porting and should quiet down your shots quite a bit. The J&J ceramics have about 2" of porting on the ends and are pretty quiet for less money than things like boomsticks or all americans.
