i read on pbreview that theres an automag/minimag zgrip and an RT zgrip. does the RT Pro need the RT grip or can it take the other one too? or does it matter. thanks!

No. The RT pro can take any of the grips designed for the Minimag/Classic Mag or otherwise. Only the Classic RT needs the RT grip. (The hole in the frame for the field strip screw is larger. Only difference) -

It depends on the rail too...
I've got an AM/MM Z grip and it won't fit on a RT Rogue Rail because the grip has the dovetail bits on it and the rail is flat on the bottom.
