Emag to power Halo B

I am trying to lighten up my mag by inteli powering my Halo B witch is a 9 volt system, but has no voltage regulator, so I built a V.R. and I was wanting to know if thier would be any kind of issues with running off of my 16.8v Emag battery. Alos I have seen in a few posts that they have an 18v battery, if this is even real what advantages does it have on the board and where can I pick one up at?

There have been a few people that have done it. I was considering doing it in the near future, I just need to find the spare time. Yes it does work, I will try to get you the link to where someone had done it, and explained how with pictures.
