    Odd Leak, Seeking Input

I've got a RT Mag and it has a wierd leak. When I first gas it up it leaks out the back of the gun, but once I fire the first shot the leak stops. It did at one time have a bad leak out the back of the gun, but I replaced the o-ring on the reg-piston assembly and now it just does this. Do any of you think I should just go ahead and replace the re-piston assembly or should I just live with it for now. I have level 10 installed and it tried to leak a little when I installed that, but now it just does this. I think I've got this one figured out, but I figured some input from you guys would be smart before investing another $20 in this gun.

    Thanks,

    MH.

Emag valve so it's an RT Pro. It is turned down to where it shoots consistently at 285. It only leaks when it first recieves air not continuously.

Anyone else want to weigh in on this problem - has anyone else experienced this?

          Hi,
From my undertanding of how my mag works and all I dont think a leak that immediately seal after one shot is a problem. Try greasing the adjuster at the rear. Other than that I would not worry about the leak, unless it continues after a few shots.

I had that happen on my old emag once before... I just put a little oil in the air intake and greased the reg assembly... and fired a couple shots... kept ungassing it and shooting it for a little bit to see if it worked and about the 3rd time I regassed it, the leak had dissappeared... Try that... hope it helps...

try pulling the reg piston again and lubing it with some grease such as high pressure pneumatic grease. can get it at walmart. the grease acts as an air seal.
