    Help Me With Classic Problem!!

I am having a rather bad prob with my classic....When I gas it up, it sputters and spits, instead of firing. Also if I hold down the trigger, air leaks constantly!! Please hook me up with some advice ASAP! Thanks...

sounds like you need to replace the o-rings on the on-off assembly, possibly even the on-off pin itself.

Are you using CO2, if you are that could be your whole problem, you are freezing up your marker.

Small world ain't it? Good call about the Co2, in my haste to be knowledgeable I had forgotten that's what it sounds like when it goes liquid. I've been playing/tinkering since 2002, but this is my first 'mag, got it mar 1st 2004!

nah, I use a 68/3k Max Flo....I have had the Mag for like 2 years now...I am going crazy because when I hold down the trigger, air keeps coming out! The gun has not been used in a field recently because of the chopping of lvl 7, but I wanted to get it running for the new LX I bought. I cant even begin to put in the LX because the thing is an air hose lol!

I had the same problem with my 68 classic when i didn't shoot it often. I pulled the bolt return spring and replaced it with a new one and have had no problems since. When I compared the two springs the old one was about a 1/4" shorter due to sitting partly compressed for so long. Now I take the spring out whenever I leave it stored for an extended period of time.
