    operating press of x-valve

    hello everyone
i am new to this forum and started to play again with my 7 year old mag.i just got a new x- valve and was wondering what the press it runs on? my old mini ran great with a duel stage reg. co2 to palmers to reg. i had co2 bumped doen to 6oo psi and used the reg on the valve to shoot 270fps and it did consistant. i want to do the same with hpa but don't know what it should be. any hpa sugges. would be great.
Yes it's a mag And it's paid for!

    Hey! Welcome to AO.

If you want to use HPA, you are best off not using a reg or stabalizer, they just starve the valve. Make sure you get a preset tank to around 850psi, or an adjustable tank and set it at 750-850psi for best operation. If you still need more help, there are plenty of others on AO that know a whole lot more than I do.

Exactly. The RT valve is itself, a regulator. You may notice that it's rated for 3000psi direct input?(it's lasered right on the valve).

Any HPA tanki will work on the X-Valve provided that it is set or adjustable to ~700+ psi. The valve runs much better on 800-850psi depending on the tank's regulator but you should not put another reg on your Mag.
