Ok Boys... Somthing that completely baffles my mind... Flatline problem

Ive bought a 3000 psi flatline that has a massive shootdown problem...

After every shot it drops more than 300 psi then rebounds quickly but not fast enough to hold a consistent 13 bps.

I have replaced every single o-ring in the reg and have checked the spring pack.

I am aware of some spring pack binding problems so I went to town on it.

I cleaned the spring pack off with cyclohexane and ethyl alcohol. so it was completely grease free. Put some penatrating lube on there cleaned it off then re-greased it. Then I worked the spring pack in a vice to make sure it wasent binding.

Seemed to smoothly travel its full range of motion. The spring pack is the flatline silver pack. And is springy enough not to be loose on the core.

I doubt anything is wrong with the spring pack and I have run out of ideas.

I don't know enough about the 3000 reg, but I know on the 4500 reg, that if you don't put the spring pack in the correct way, it'll exhibit this kind of problem.

    Might be something to check.
