am i doing something wrong my level 10 doesnt stop on a dollar?

Keep in mind, that test is on the BLEEDING edge of perfection. I don't know many people who can achieve that. I don't care that it doesn't stop on a dollar bill. It stops on paintballs just fine.

my setup is
red spring (longest)
carrier with 1 groove
no shims

Actually, the silver spring is the longest. (At least it has more tension than the red one.)

You want to use the LOOSEST carrier that doesn't leak. If you can get away with the 1.5, use it.

Remember, put your finger right up against the bolt when you do your test. If you don't, the bolt will have time to get up to speed and it'll smack your finger.

If it's leaking you need to go back to the old carrier that didn't.

I am using the 3.5 (3 lines 1 dot) carrier with no shims with the Red Spring
It does not stop on a dolar (or peso that is the currenci here in Argentina ) but i hit a single paintball 40 times with the lvl-X before the paintball was finaly cut in half.

So remember, dont hit the ball more than 35 times, unless that you want to clean up your MAG

I had my MiniMag valve set up to pass the dollar bill test with flying colors. My setup included the 1.5 carrier, two shims, and the shortest(!) spring. I could stick a pen towards the front of the breech and it would still chuff.
