"quatro seal" o-rings used in e-mags.....

what exactly is the advantage of using thses quatro seal o-rings that I've seen in e-mags? I know they have twice the sealing surface inside and out, but how is that an advantage?

    They also produce less friction.

I learned this the hard way.

thanks. photondream pointed me in the direction of an earlier thread on the subject. my problem is, so far everybody has been comparing apples and oranges in the threads I've read. you can't compare a regular urethane o-ring to a viton or buna-n quatro seal o-ring. of course the viton and/or buna-n will seem to have less friction, they are softer material.

the reason I'm thinking about this is that I already use regular buna-n o-rings in my on/off and in my lvl 10. but I'm wodering if there is anything performance gain to be had by investing in some quatro-seal buna-n o-rings.
