Quad O-ring on E-mag?

I was having a problem with my retro valve leaking with the quad o-ring in the on/off assembly. I decided to go to the stock on/off that comes with a retro - no quad. Is this ok if it is working? Am I losing some firepower by using the regular oring setup?

Purely Purple ULE Retro mag

it will work...but your battery wont last as long.
