    ACI thumb adjuster won't fit...

At a tourny today i bought an aci thumb adjuster, when i got home and tried it out i found it wouldn't fit. This struck me as quite odd. First i would like to know if anybody else had this problem and what did you do, and second any ideas on how to fix it would be appreciated. thanx.

is there a chance you could have flipped the spring pack around?

nope, the spring pack fits into the adjuster, the disk goes in first just like normal. But after after starting to thread it in it stops like the threads are too big. prolly should have put that in my first post...sorry if that caused any problems.

check the threads on the adjuster to see if any are damaged
try screwing in the adjuster without the spring pack

In the end take it and your valve back to the seller
and trade it for one that fits (thats why you take the valve with you)

Take it back to the seller, get your money, buy a 1/8 allen key and save $10.

Works better that striping out your threads trying to get a cheap replacement in there
