    Velocity Problems

Got a problem with my velocity. I was at the chrono and I shot over it. It said 342. No problem, I'll turn the nut to the left. I turn it and fire. It reads 363. I turn it another quarter turn and it drops to 140. I ended up turning it up milimeter by milimeter until I got it to 260 (field limit is 280). Does this happen to anyone else? What's the deal?

One side note: The chrono station had two chronos sitting next to eachother about two feet apart. Could this affect the readings?

when you goto chrono in... anytime you make an adjustment to the FPS on the back of your valve turn your marker sideways and fire off 4-6 shots, so that the regulater cant reset itself to the new pressure.....(this holds ture to any marker that you use a reg to adjust the velocity)

after you do these "clearing shots" fire a couple over the chrono you should see that the velocity is more stable....
