    E-Mag battery charger question

I have been having some E-May battery problems mainly to not charging. The charger light is green when battery plugged in but the gun says the battery is low. I measured the output on the charger at had 25 volts. The battery had 17.1 volts. Is this right?

Charge the battery again for at least 6 hours then check it. It should be around 20 volts. Your charger output is correct.

Thanks for the fast reply. I will now charge my battery for 6 hours. I didn't want to do it before incase the 25 volts was a mistake.

        Thanks again

Is your battery being pressed on to the charger all the way? You should have a red light for about two hours before it turns green. Then once it turns green it needs to trickle charge for about 2 more hours for max battery life. Try using your battery pin to hold the battery down on the charger by placing it through the hole in the front of the charger and make sure that the battery is in good contact with the charger (the light will turn green once you have the battery on there without even charging). -Ian
