E-Mag trigger pin, which end first?

I just removed my E-Mag trigger since my Fireblade will be here tomorrow. I'm just wondering which end of the pin do I put in first. When I tapped it out it fell on my work bench so I didn't get to see which way it was put in. So when I put it back in, does the smooth end go first or the end with little slots cut into it go in first?

It goes in from the left side(selector switch side) to the right. Smooth end goes in first. Those knurlings on the end of the pin hold it tight when pressed all the way in. Hope this helps.

I had searched around and knew which side of the frame to tap it out from, I was surpised when I saw the pin and one side was different from the other.
