i am completly with knew the mag gun, got one on the cheap, a minimag for $200. i noticed that the barrels are different. do i need an adapter because i am going to use a ceramic barrel for it.

the abrrels use the twist lock system doc makes an adapter if u want cocker threads or you can get a ule body ide stick with the stock for know i liked the twist lock but i think im the only one

found a solution
i have found that j&j makes a automag ceramic barrel. would this work with the minimag. i'm guessing that the twist lock systems are the same, just making sure though

For oiling, all you have to do is to drop a couple of drops into the asa and fire the gun a couple of times.

right. now, is there anything to check on or replace if the gun has been out of use for a while, say six or seven months?

Try the gun and see if you get any trouble. If you do, come back here and I'm sure someone will help you

First thing you should do is oil the gun before you gas it up, since it has been out of use for a while. Then, listen for any leaks, and what I like to do to check for leaks is GAS THE GUN UP (it has to be pressurised to the internals don't get wet) Then submerge the gun in water (sink, bucket, ect.) to easily check for leaks. If you have any, come back and I can advise you in what to do, I was in your position last year
