    Regulator on a mag?

I have seen some people using high pressure regulators on their mags instead of a "gas through" or expansion chambers. They claim it gives more consistent shots and less drop off in rapid fire. Is this true, or is it just another after-market waste of money?

    Thanks

If you're using CO2, another regulator can do all the things you said. It's also a good way to block liquid CO2 from getting to the gun. However, when you use compressed air, the reg becomes a flow restrictor and can cause problems.

If you have the money, an adjustable tank is the way to go. Run a line right from your tank to your valve. This way, there is no starving and the valve gets all the air it needs.

All the adjustable tank is does is giving the ability to adjust the reactivity if you have an rt style valve. Preset is cheaper, and just as good. If you have a classic valve there is no benifit from an adjustable compared to a preset.
