Hello all, just arrived. with questions and probably not-new ideas..

Looking to replace my aging F1 Illustrator with something new.
The Mags look most interesing, and thanks to the tech info here, I finally understand how the things work. It's still not the mythical searless pure pneumatic marker, but it's close. The RT-ULE Custom looks interesting as a starting point, and the strong points seem to be minimal reciprocating mass (recoil), no batteries, and few large O-rings sliding around in tubes. I imagine that it's more gas efficient than most others.

A few questions please.. The "Chuff" problem? My best guess about this is that it comes from insufficient recharge, caused by incomplete release of the trigger.

If so, has anyone attempted to design a sear assembly that disconnects from the trigger and locks in the fire/off position until the bolt returns?

When the trigger is pulled to the release point, the sear latches up and the trigger disconnects from the sear. When the bolt returns, the sear is released the on-off opens. When the trigger is released, it reconnects to the sear, ready for the next shot.

The Warp.. Batteries in it, and in required power feed hopper. Is anyone else wishing for a warp with integral hopper / agitator? One motor, board and battery stirs AND feeds the balls. I see the top edges of the sheel extending into the hopper, with paddle fingers sticking up further. A molded-in feed tube carries the balls up through the hopper. This may even be doable as a mod.. Has it been tried yet?

first of all, you should be an engineer(if you aren't allready).

but for real, mags aren't real gas efficient at all. my rt pro is a real gas hog! i can shoot about 650-680 shots per fill(3000 >< 68 tank) if that, probably not that much. but they shoot amazing. accuracy, rate of fire(with intelliframe), and don't break too many balls(if velocity isn't too high, i like around 270) all around great gun, i would highly recommend it to anyone.

      Welcome to AO!

      Well, welcome to AO!

An integral hopper/feed mechanism is most evident on an AT-85 and AT-10, but (and don't quote me on this... ) but something like it may, possibly, just a chance, be put into AGD next prototype...but don't hold your breath. Again, don't quote me on this, I am probably wrong.

I suppose that is a possible meaning of "chuff."

I've always understood it to be when a LVL 10 setup resets after striking a paintball that isn't completely in the chamber. Usually caused by outshooting your hopper (ie, see ME last Saturday. Need to get my warp installed...)
