Classic Valve shooting like autoresponse trigger

Here is my set up to start with.

Mini body, standard rail, Z-Grip, Classic L7 valve.

Now for the problem. I can air up the valve and everything is fine. If I shoot a long string of shots, nothing is wrong. They shoot great, however when I shoot a single, or very slow multi shots, it will shoot a ball on the pull and a ball on the return of the trigger.

I usually can figure out what is wrong with a mag, and at my field even the air smith will send any mag problems to me to look at. However this has me stumped. My first thought was on/off pin, I tested several and the original pin is the only one that will even shoot with the valve

My next thought is I am shooting a Retro sear with a classic valve, however I am not sure what sear I have in the gun. I don't think I have a classic sear around to compare.

Any thoughts, suggestions, or similar experiences will be greatly appreciated

hmmm not sure what the problem is and not trying to hijack the thread i just have a very similar problem

    running xvalve
    ult trigger
    iframe

alright i have never had this problem before but here goes

alright first shot after i let the valve sit for maybe 20 seconds i either have to pull really hard and fast to get a normal shot off other wise it always chuffs. if i pull slow it does the multi shot thing that Tack brought up

i have tried messing with the level 10 and the ult to no avail and when i put the stock on.off in i goes extremely reactive

I don't know for sure, but heres an idea. The mag definatly has a reactive trigger when classic does not come with it stock. I would sugest that you lower the reactivity. I'm not sure how you would do that in a classic, i only know how to in an RT. Good Luck and i hope this helps.

I had this problem when the regulator on my airtank developed a leak and my output pressure dropped below 750psi. As soon as I got my tank fixed my mag stopped doing that double fire thing.

Check your tank and make sure it is full, and if you can, check the output pressure also.

I'll check the tanks, but I have used three different ones and it does the same thing.

          Any other ideas?????

well isnt that better, you can shoot your mag faster , mine had a similar problem, but i changed it to an advantage. for my mag if i hold the trigger a little past the middle and keep it there, it'll be like an automatic, non-stop unless you push the trigger a little harder or lessen it. it only goes about 12 bps, i think, but thats still pretty cool. try it out.

On a Retro Valve, that is cool. When you get that on a Classic valve there is a problem. The worry is most fields that I know of do not allow autoresponse triggers, or any trigger set up to shoot like a AR. When I fire over the chrono and it shoots on the pull and release, to a ref it looks like a modified valve or trigger frame. The last thing I want is to be told I can't use my Mag because it is "modified" when it is not.

To what ClouD said, it is better for a rec player, but in tournaments you will get DQ'd for trigger bounce

Heh, this happened on my classic. What fixed it for me was to screw in the field strip screw and main body screw TIGHT, with an allen wrench. Not just the mainbody screw, but even the field strip screw , it cant be just hand tight.

                    Dunno tho. Good Luck.
