    simple ult and xvalve question

After having a ult kit for about 4 months I finally had the time to sit down and install it yesterday. I have a xvalve, with regular engraved x on it if that matters at all. I put some lube on the ult slid it in, but it did not go down flush with the valve. The top white oring was still sticking out, so I put some pressure on it. No luck, it would not go down any further. I did not want to mess anything up so I took the ult out and put the stock xvalve on-off back in.
I noticed that there is a white oring in the xvalve, I was not sure if I was suppose to take that out or leave it in before I installed the ult. So I left it in. Should I take it out, because I think that would let the ult slide down flush with the valve then? Am I doing something else wrong? Thanks for any help.

Yes remove ALL o-rings from the old on/off assembley. Even the 2 down in the "hole". After you do that your problem will be solved.

yep, i removed it a few hours ago and it worked. I am getting a weird tuning issue, 3 shims is not enough to make the sear reset, and with 4 shims I cannot fit it into the body of the gun. Oh well, I tried. thanks for the help
