Macroline stuck in fitting

Hmmm..my macroline is stuck in the fitting. I tried pliars but it just scratched up the plastic so i wont be trying that again.

I just push in and pull out right?
I feel so....stupid.

Nasty stuff isn't it
First save you fingers a bit and use something like
a 1/4" wrench to push down on the collar
Also before you try to pull it out of the fitting
firmly push it into the fitting
There is a steel ring inside the fitting. It has a bunch
of teeth that dig into the plastic to hold it in.
By pushing first it will be a lot easier to get out.

Last resort take a sharp knife (olfa xacto etc)
and cut the pipe almost flush with the collar
push a small screwdriver between the remaining pipe to
collapse it onto itsself and fish it out

Got it, took two people and when my friend pulled it out his fist went flying into my stomach Ow...

But i got it

You did push in the collar didn't you ?

Yeah, it was the first time i used it and its easier to take out...
