updating e-mag software
how do they flash the guns? I know that Racegun lets you download the software and update via a palm pilot. How do you do it with a e-mag?

No, you won't be able to do it yourself. You'll need to either send it into AGD, or find someone who has the hardware to flash the EEPROM and the software itself.
If you don't wanna ship to AGD (and I can't remember what it costs), try BlackVCG on the West Coast or Tunaman (I think? Someone confirm?) on the East Coast here on the forums.
