    RT Valve, little help please

Adjusting the Velocity on my RT valve this afternoon, all of a sudden gas starts escaping at a violent pace from the hole the allen key goes in at the back of the valve, until the tank was empty, what did I do, and what is the fix?

    Thanks Alan

It sounds like you just turned it up to high. Were you at the chony or just messing around? Basically it's a relief, to much pressure = to high velocity = DANGER!! Try turning it out, lower velocity, and see if that helps.

Yeah, remember, mags only need a 1/4 of a turn and I think it can go up 50 FPS.

If turning it back down and it still leaks, you need a new reg. piston.

        RT Valve

Thanks guys sounds like that's what I did as I certainly went way past 1/4 turn. I'll have to get the tank filled to check, does anybody know if they make a thumb adjuster for the velocity adjustment on the RT valve and if they do where you can get one?

        Alan

p.s. clockwise increases velocity or decreases?

No thumb adjuster for the RT, and clockwise, in, is higher, and counter-clockwise, out, is lower.
