RT vavles are more reactive. Faster recharge rate. The back half is aluminum. HPA only. ULT compatible.

Classics are less reactive, all stainless steal, and don't recharge as fast. C02 and HPA.

It is an improvement if you have a good source of HPA.

Around here a 48/3K fill can cost up to $6, but in some areas it is cheaper than CO2.
Yes, my Mag is made of steel.

Last question; How many different types of RT valves are there? I see the standard one, but I also see ones that have the fitting on the left side, and ones that use the banjo bolt....

              Thanks,

                Thank you!

As my little rundown shows there are quite a few varieties but suffices to say this:

With the exception of the Classic RT valve ONLY found on the old Classic Automag RT (which has a number of unique features like the banjo bolt and a smaller diameter) any and all variations of the RT valve are compatible with any mag (again, excluding the Classic RT).

Really the only difference is that the X-Valves are a bit lighter as they are all aluminum vs the steel ones (but performance is the same)
