    Datapimp cradle play

I have an old data pimp cradle on my rt mini mag with a flatline 68/3k. There is some play in the dovetail where it connects to the piece attatched to the grip. I was wondering if there is any way to limit this play, or which cradle you guys reccomend. Preferably one that is about 2" vert and 4" horiz. like the one in the pic.

    Thanks,
    Eric

Here is a pic of the drop.

Does the screw loosen up, or does it not tighten in the first place?

it tightens all the way, its just minor horizontal play in the dovetail, where it slides in.

        datapimp

I have the same problem with my datapimp, i dont notice it now if you are just getting it, i fixed it with a pice of electrical tape on the inside of one of the sides but it is not the most durable stuff so it came off, buy mabie a thin layer of epoxy, if it is to much sand it down until it is cool, just thought of that so I am goign to try the same thing, if you cant get epoxy they will have stuff called foxy poxy at any hardware store. Ill let you know how it works out

Mine has a tiny bit of play until that last bit of thread on the screw. After that it's tight. Mine is new though and maybe yours is getting a little bit worn out.
