    Air Leakage Question

Being new to Automags I was watching the (Circa 199x) video that come with the gun, and trying to familiarize myself with the valve components.

I did all of the troubleshooting steps, and it's not leaking out the back, but when I air up the marker (HPA) I can hear an ever so slight hiss, it sounds like it's coming from the side, but at the same time sounds as if it's coming out of the barrel.

If I fire a shot it leaks a bit more..this time dwn the barrel. In both instances playing with the trigger silences/stops the hiss. I've replaced my on/off Orings, and I don't get the sprinkler effect which tells me that the regulator, and valve/(On/off) are working correctly.

My question is Does the LVL10 installation introduce a second source of leakage down the barrel? I'm pretty sure I have the best carrier in there, and am not using any shims (leaks worse with them) I didn't replace my powertube o-ring when I installed the lvl10...

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

    Rob

use the powertube oring supplied with lvl 10. If that does not stop leak you need to try the next smallest carrier if Im reading that right.

You have to take all the level 7 powertube parts out when you change over to a level 10 bolt setup. Use the parts supplied with the level 10 kit to put everything back together.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
