Im new to mags, and I keep hearing about how easily you can rip on your mag once you find the "sweetspot" what is meant by this, and what adjustments need to be made in order to configure your gun to do this? thanks.
Sweetspotting?

Well, with an RT Pro/X-Valve, after you depress the trigger, the valve will push the trigger back out, which enables you to fire faster. The trick to "sweetspotting" is to just put enough pressure on the trigger that as soon as the valve kicks it forward, you are pulling it right as it resets. You have, esentially, achieved full auto on your semi-auto marker. If I remember right, if you can do this, your marker can be disqualified from tournaments (Check on this with someone smarter than me! :o )
Now, if you have the Ultra Light Trigger kit, your ability to sweetspot your mag will be greatly reduced, buy you will have a much lighter trigger pull in the first place. This will also increase your rate of fire, and is much more tournament friendly.

It is not a bad thing. It is just a different thing. Do you want to be able to do full-auto (which may/maynot get your gun disqualified in a tourney environment), or do you want to have a really light trigger with which you can have high rates of semi-auto fire? It is all personal preference. I love my ULT.Originally posted by Mr.Goodbar989Why do i hear bad things about the ULT??

"sweet spotting" is NOT full auto, "runaway" is full auto. There is a big difference. Sweet spotting can be controlled, runaway cant. Both are'nt very tourney friendly though
The ability to get your mag to do it in the first place is very dependent on the flow rate of your airsystem.
For all you need to ever know about this subject, look up some of Z-mans threads in the tech forum, he is basically like Yoda on this particular topic.
If you look at his vids on his website, you will clearly see with your own eyes the difference between sweet spotting and runaway.

So what you're saying is ...
It's harder to autofire with a ULE trigger but it's not impossible?
I should have read up on this before I purchased my RT. Not the I mind, the light trigger pull IS awesome.AO-IL

If you really want to sweetspot the ULT trigger is not your best bet. You probably have to crank up your pressure relly high. The best thing to do is to get an original on/off assembly, which doesn't cost all that much.

Would it be possible to just buy a regular RT on/off so you can switch between that and the ULT depending on which one you feel like using? That'd be the way to go.

Yes it's possible to switch between the two.

Hi all,
I am also new to mags, and after seeing Z-Man's video of 23bps while sweetspotting I WANT ONE.
My question is this: If I buy the $340 RT-ULE Custom with the $20 ULE mainbody (so I can use my cocker barrels), will it be able to do that? I will mount an AA Apocalypse (adjustable) and a fast hopper to it.
Thanks in advance for the info!'04 RT Custom w/ classic Z-grip

To answer your question yes you should be able to. Now you can go the ULT rout if you pleace but the point of the ULT is not to be setup to sweetspot. Yes it can be done but if the ULT is adjusted properly it should not bounce much less sweetspot.
Since many are hell bent on buying up every AGD mod (which is fine
support your friendly AGD) I suggest you keep the original on/off assbly so that you have it to try out in case you dislike the ULT.
Makde sure you get a fast hopper. A Halo B or a Q-Loader is about all that can keep up right now. An EggII or that angular Richochette thing wont cut it.
