Hyper Frame problems.

I have an older Hyper Frame that I've used for a few years now. I recently added a ULE frame, an E-Mag Valve & a Level 10. Things were going just swell for about two cases and then all of a sudden I started having problems. Half way through my day at the park, I threw on a full tank and air immediately started blowing through the marker. I'm sure it has something to do with the on/off pin, but what?

I've also noticed the on/off pin now sticks out a little bit when I connect air. It makes taking the valve off a little tricky. How was the new valve able to work so well with the Hyper Frame for two cases and then just stop??? There are no Mag dealers/techs in my area, so I'm really hoping someone can help me with this.

Oh, and can someone please tell me what the difference is between an X-Vale and an E-Mag Valve? I got the latter for an excellent price that I just couldn't pass. Is it worth getting an X-Valve over the E-Mag one?

First, I'm not sure you mean by ULE Frame. There are frame rails and grip frames.

Second, when the marker is gassed up you can't see the on/off pin. What is it that you see sticking out?

Third, from your description, it doesn't sound like the hyperframe has anything to do with it, unless it has chipped/worn the sear/bolt. Look for that first. If not, were is it "leaking" from? Down the barrel is an oring in the bolt area. Out the back is an overpressure situation. That would be an oring in the reg. somewhere (reg seal, sticking reg piston oring, etc.).

1. It's the ULE body, not frame. Sorry about that.

2. When I take the gas off and unscrew the valve, it will not slide out because the on/off pin sticks out a little bit and gets stuck. I have to take the frickin frame off to get the valve out.

3. I have a new Level 10 with fresh o-rings. No problem with any of them. The sear is still pretty new too. It doesn't leak out the back either. I'm 90% sure the problem is with the on/off pin. I'm just not sure what it is or what to do! Perhaps the pin size isn't right?

Any suggestions?

The Hyperframe was not designed in conjunction with the LVL10. If you are still using the CF on/off with the LVL10 you may run into problems. Most users have success by replacing the CF on/off in favor of the ULT assembly. However...to my knowledge the E-mag valve body is not compatible with the ULT. Please give our techs a call @ 630-553-2611. Ask for Jeff...
