I just got an x-valve w/lx and wasn't sure what the different sized springs do for the guns performance. Anything helps.

The middle spring is the best compromise. Softer than the short spring on paint while more dependable than that long one and easier on air than the long one. The short spring will give you the best air efficiency but its a little harder on paint. Its up to you but I would chose between the Short one and the Middle one (red one). forget about the long one. Its too finicky.
