    ULT problem

I posted this in the ULT thread but I'm not getting any responses so I thought I'd bring it out here.

I have a ULE Mag with X-valve and intelliframe. It works perfectly with the original on/off, but when I put the ULT in, I get what seems to be shoot down in even slow streams of 5 to 7 BPS (don't get it with the regular X-valve on/off), and then a chuff, and occaisionally my bolt will not reset and I have to push it back. I've get 5 ULT shims in. My tank is an 88/4500 that is putting out 950psi. I can rip off pretty high BPS with the original x-valve on/off but with the ULT it seems like I run out of air or something.

I thought maybe the pin in the ULT was sticking, so I took the ULT apart and oiled the crap out of it. That didn't seem to help.

Please, someone give me an idea what direction to go, here.

Oh man. I'm an idiot. I totally had that backwards! I was thinking that the fewer shims you have the more likely you are to chuff! I was ADDING shims!

Okay, so I'm at 3 shims and this baby rocks!

Thanks for turning me around, bud!

      Woohoo!!
