    Possibly dumb X-valve Question

I just bought a used X-valve that has a Lvl-10 already installed and tuned. The tuning isn't affected by the body, right? So I should be able to just drop it in my gun and go, assuming it was properly tuned? Or should I dismantle the whole deal and start the tuning from scratch?

I'm asking instead of trying because I don't have a body right now, since I traded mine off and am awaiting the arrival of my new Dallara.

the only time you should start from scratch would be when changing bolts or valves.

Possible issues to watch out for

If you are using a non-ULE body you could be in for some trouble. I threw an LX in to my mag a while back a that had already been adjusted and was having serious problems. The root of the problems was changing breech tolerances due to the diferences in barrel diameter. I fixed the problem but only after five hours of 220-grit'ing the heck out of the inside of the barrel breech. I recently switched to an ULE and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. hope this helps
