Intelli wiring question

Hey guys, I just got a Y-grip, and I'm in the process of hooking up the microswitch and whatnot.

My question: I saw how AGD recommends it, with a loose plug hanging out the grip. I'd rather hardmount a plud on the frame or grip somewhere that I pluug the phono plug into. Does anyone have pix of this type of setup, and/or specifics on what parts they used?
