    Longest spring

I heard that the longest spring will be the softest on paint, true???

Also when I install the longest spring, I can not shoot under 300 fps. I crank up the velocity and it will shoot fine, but not legal. I can get it to shoot around 310-315 however I only get off about 3-4 shots before the trigger starts sticking and resets very slowly.

If I put in a bigger carrier will this solve the problem? If not what will solve the problem??

Please help, chopping paint makes for a lowsy day of paintball. I'm sure we all know that....
    Thanks,
    C

The longest spring is softest on paint, but if you can't get it to fire under 300, the middle spring, which is red, is perfectly ok to use. That is what most people use.

jwalker87, not to be a jerk, but if you are going to give tips, please know what you are talking about.

If u can't get it to shoot under 300fps with the longest spring use the middle spring. If u want to shoot at say 285fps then tune ur springs so that ur gun starts shooting at about 270fps. If u use the middle spring and it shoots at like 250fps then cut the long spring until the gun starts shooting at 270fps.

        Hope that helps.
