    E mag won't fire in "E MODE" ?!?!?

hey all- just got into e mags.... wondering about a few things, may have seen my other post regarding the body. At any rate, i Charged the completely drained battery for about an hour just to rip a few out of the marker and see how she works, at any rate- i hooked the battery up, pulled the pin with the marker in E mode, aire'd it up... went to shoot and nothing, i could hear the small click which made me think the sear WAS tripping, but yet it wouldnt fire.. Does anyone know what the problem could be?!!
    id rip it...

yes safety is off- damn hard to push the safety back and forth (ive heard of this occuring) so i just keep it off. At any rate; could trigger magnets be causing this? Or a bad battery that isnt holding a charge?

Is it turning on and can you see stuff on the LED screen?
        Does it work in manual?

yes, it works in manual. Yes it goes through the readout on the LED screen and allows me to go through modes, any ideas?

I had a similar issue. I could feel the air pressure on my trigger rod, but I couldn't get it to fire. It seemed like was pulling against a spring.

My issue was the on/off pin, I think it was too long.

yes, but like i said it works flawlessly in MANUAL mode..... so i think it may be somethign to do with the trigger magnet

If it's the magnet, the screen will either become all garbled or go out (no flashing red dot). You'll have to reset it by putting in and taking out the yellow pin.

If that's the case, screw the magnet into the trigger more. (less of the magnet showing at the back of the trigger)

well i guess its not- because the little red dot in the lower left corner of the screen still flashes, this must narrow it down, any of you mag experts know , here are the facts lol:

                  -works in manual
                  -isnt the trigger magnet
-Battery holds enough charge to at least fire some shots

                  hmmm.....

If you hear the solenoid click, then it's not a magnet issue, b/c that means the HES is picking up the magnet's field.

ok im going to turn this into a tech question into an advertisement for tuna:

                          is your emag not working?
do you hear a noid clicking but not boom boom?
has your board begun to say profain things on the led readout?

then send your gun to tunaman. the east coasts premier agd tech. he will have your gun up and running in no time. so for top notch service and marker ripability go to tunaman. thats T U N A M A N.

there is one possible problems here that jump out at me...

First is that you are hearing the gun click signifies that the noid is firing (there is nothing else that moves in the trigger frame). The trigger frame is doing its job fine at this point. Pull off your left side grip and try to fire the marker. You should see the noid pull the sear down. If it is pulling the sear and it is not firing the problem is prob the adjustment of the solinoid plunger depth. The Spec according to Black is 3.005 inches measured from the bottom of the plunger to the top of the clevis pin. If the plunger is shorter it will activate the marker sooner in the plunger pull. Maybe it needs to be shortened a little bit. If it is too long it will not fire at all (your problem)

The other thing that I have seen is that the internal sleeve of the noid is loose and not allowing the plunger from being pulled all the way in. If that is case you need a new noid. You can see if there is a "brass colored" sleve that is visible above the solenoid that the linkage hits when firing.

Hope this helps before you ship it out.

lamby- thanks alot, at least i can safely say that i think its noid related.
