once i get a job i'm going to get a ULE body and that makes my gun have autococker threadings thus making me susceptable to get a kaner barrel system, i have heard good things about this barrel system and was hoping some of you know if it's good, and if not give me some suggestions on other barrel systems that are good. Anything helps.

Kaner kits are awesome. I'm currently rocking one on my ULE Emag. They have the best internal of any barrel I've ever seen. It's mirror and is perfect. Plus it's quieter then a Pipe kit. I seem to get good efficency as far as barrels go as well. ONly problem with it is I shoot so fast it vibrates loose, but it's nothing a swirl of teflon tape doesn't fix. Overall it's a great barrel but WGP is changing the kit. Instead of having a 10" tip as the smallest it's gonna go to 12" up to 16" instead of the 10-14" that is out currently. I highly recommend them.Sorry, I'm old -

I've heard good things about the kaner kits.
Also, look into the powerlyte scepter, that is a very high quality barrel system as well.
I have also heard good things about the Mac Dev Matchstick barrel system (only $99!!!), and currently use an Empire 4 piece system, which works amazingly well.Comment

I used a Kaner for almost two years on my Orracle. It shoots really nice, and looks great. And it goes for a great price. The STO Kaner kit (featured on the Karnivor) is replacing the old Kaner, so may want to wait a little bit until the new ones are available. They come in a lot of colors, and if you want something custom WGP will anno however you like for a bit extra. I think you'll be really happy with it. WGP makes quality products.
I currently shoot the Evil Pipe and also really like that. A bit more expensive than the Kaner, but you get more backs, and I think it shoots through breaks in the barrel better than the Kaner.
As for the Freak, though I think it's great barrel, the inserts are fragile, and getting paint out of the porting of a Freak tip is a big pain in the ***. I can't recommend buying anything from Smart Parts though... lousy ethics.Comment

I've been using a kaner system in my xmag for about a year. It does the job with no complaints. I've only had one occassion that I didn't have a matching bore size for the paint. Also, who better to make a cocker threaded barrel then wgp?Comment

I just switched to one coming from a freak, there's no comparison. The Kaner blows the freak out of the water. It shoots clean immediately after a single squeege and shoots darts. I don't think I'll ever use anything else on a cocker threaded gun.Backman of Team Illusion

Put a small amount of teflon tape around the threads on both sections. That'll eliminate the un-screwing and it'll stay nice and tight.Originally posted by spacemonkeyim currently using a Kaner system on my ule mag
