Classic Mag Gas Thru Grip Issue HELP!!!

I have a 68 Mag Powerfeed and i am having a problem attaching a gas through grip to it. The grip i bought was designed to fit the mag without the use of a vertial air adaptar. There is a hole in the top and a screw that somehow is supposed to attach it but i have no idea where this bolt would go at all please help!!!

The hole is coverd by a think layer of metal just take your mag apart and you will see where it goes in the rail just punch that metal out.
