Upgrades

I just bought an Automag 68 P/F, and I was wondering what upgrades would be good for it. What is a good barrel, hopper, drop, ect.

let me be the first to say welcome to AO!

upgrades... hmmmm..... theres literally thousands of things you can do to customize your setup... as for what I feel is essential, there's always the level 10 antichop bolt... a bolt that when properly set up, makes it virtually impossable to chop a paintball!

I'm thinking about getting that, and an intelliframe, along with a SP all-american barrel. I would be using A/Sed co2 until I could get a cheap hpa bottle, like a crossfire.

if you're going to be using co2 beware the liquid, i found the palmer's sideline stabilizer to work the best. Intelliframes are nice, but look into the new logic vert. frames.

No need to get a palmer, save the money for the HPA later on. AS co2 will be fine most of the time, but make sure you bring extra orings to the field

As for upgrades, here is what you can get.
lvl10 - No chops
Trigger frame, Intelli/Y/Logic/Rogue all look nice
ULE body - Great looks, lightweight, cocker barrels
X-valve (includes lvl10) - no chops, reactive trigger, super fast recharge, ability to use ULT.
ULT - Much lighter trigger pull (cannot be used on the original 68 valve)

BUT, if you decide to get all of those things, you might as well sell your 68 and buy the ULE Custom deal, it would probably cheaper =)

I guess I should write this as well: Some people have gotten the ULT to works on a classic valve, but this requires that you know what you are doing, and is not recommended from AGD.
