i have a basic automag classic that i am hoping to upgrade, and i was wondering if i could use the ult with the classic valve? i was also wandering how much bps the classic could put out?

The ULT was not designed for use with the Classic valve.
Some people get it to work. Some don't.
The Classic valve will do about 16bps without shootdown. However, it's more likely you'll get between 10-12. -

because from everything that I've encountered, it increases the number (alot)...
I've got my classic set up with the ULT, Its by far the greatest upgrade I own. It takes the pull weight down dramatically, adds a little bit of reactivity, and allows me to get my extra 2-3 bps (with like half the effort)

well you might need some extra shims... only 5 come with the ULT and for example, I use 13...
They can be purchased from the AGD store, but I believe its cheaper to buy lvl 10 shims (which are twice the thickness)... one level 10 shim = two ULT shims

the x-vavle is worth buyin i picked mine up for 250 and got to keep my old valve i love the x-valve no more choppin and no more shootdown
