I've been having some trouble with trigger frames on my RT
Lets start off with the Benchmark.
I got this a while back and didn't get a chance to use it because my RT was at AGD, and when I got it back, I didn't have time to play. When I finally had a chance to play with it I notice that the trigger rod comes extremely close to the back of the trigger(a fraction of a centimeter). The first question you are going to as is "Did you adjust your trigger rod?", so I am going to tell you here, the no, I did not, because I heard of the evils it can do to your gun. Now, the problem with it has somehting to do with this, I think... The problem is that the gun will shoot with the safety ON on occasion, which is a safety hazard(although I usually turn the PF plug and clear the chamber before leaving the field). When I got my RT back, I noticed on the paper they sent me that they changed the sear with something called a "sear 2000". I don't know if this is what is causing the problem, but I thought it might be worth noting.
Now, on to the Z-Grip...
I got my Z-Grip from Diablo Direct(The Captain of the JAX Warriors, whose name escapes me at the moment, to be exact). The problem with the Z-Grip, is that it will double shoot every couple of shots. I can pull the trigger one, and it will shoot twice even after I move my finger away from the trigger. It will sometimes take the second shot a second or two after the initial shot. After a burst of shots, the bolt will sometimes get stuck forward a small ways(sometimes only about a centimeter or so from being reset into the original position. Just for the record, I was also given a long-nosed bolt when I sent my gun in. I've tried changing the spring, but it didn't help, and I don't think it is the problem because these problems don't occur when I use the stock frame.
I'm not sure what to do as to get these things working. I;m not sure whether or not to send it in to AGD to be looked at. If it was needed that I send it in to AGD to be fixed, I am a bit weary of sending it in because of the length it took to get my gun back last time I sent it in(3 months), and because I don't really have funds to pay for parts that may need replaceing, or for the labor. The latter or the last two problems, may or may not be exhistant, because of when my warrenty expires. I bought it in February of 1999, so if it was manufactured that same year, I still have a warrenty until the end of next year. However, due to the fact I got it early in the year, It could have been made in the previous year(1998), which would make my warrenty expire in 11 days.
Anyway, If anyone could give me some advice on how to fix it or what to do, I would greatly appreciate it. If someone could even tell me why these problems are occurring, I would also appreciate that.
Thanks in advance.
