xvalve trouble

Heres the deal first when i shoot the gun after i stop pulling the trigger i hear a click as if the bolt is reseating. I have a leak out the front dont have a carrier small enough to stop the leak carrier 0. also air sometimes leaks out the side small hole on the valve. took the to halfes of the valve apart but everything looked good. Im used to the old valve where is the reg seat on the xvalve? sry so random but i just get so many small random things hapening i cant solve it. this is all on a minimag

Gas the gun up and push on the bolt when it's leaking.

If it stops, it's a shim leak. You may have one too many in there.

If it changes tone, it's a carrier leak. (Since you're on the 0 carrier, you may need to change to a different oring and start over.)

How new is the setup? what spring are you running?

im running middle (red) spring. if i push in the bolt it leaks more. x valve is new. i have tried three orings and each is doing the leak all way down to 0 carrier with 2000 plus shots on each oring. at moment i have 0 shims have tried 2 1 and o on 3 it leaks all the time

Just curious but have you chrono'd the gun?

What's the velocity?

Also,are you able to shoot rapidly or is it one shot then the click and then....you can shoot again?

The X valve should have come basically set up from AGD, how did it perform then and do you know what the set up was?

Do you have a ULT in it.

ult and hyper are on there. it came with 2 shims in and leaked. i kept going down in carriers but it doesnt stop the leak. adjust the shims all sorts of ways and that hasnt helped. velocity is up. able to shoot rapid only click once i stop shooting

Any chance it's leaking from somewhere other than the bolt?

By Hyper,I assume you mean a Hyper frame?

If so, you may need to have a mechanical frame for a better diagnosis,where you can pull and put pressure on the trigger and on/off assembly.

My other concern was if the velocity is up too high.

rgr that the velocity is just fine if i turn it way up it vents out other holes. the air is def coming from barrel. It was doing this with the mech frame without ule in it.

Just a recap...

Tried new L10 o-rings,carrier sizes and shim combos with no effect.Different on/offs have had no effect.Different frames have had no effect.

Not much more I can suggest without seeing it first hand other than perhaps somethings defective. For instance,I have an X valve at AGD right now that's leaking air through the seam between the valve body and powertube assembly.No fix there. I've also had the occasional L10 bolt break or crack in various places,also no fix there.

Wish I could help more,you may have to get an RA# and send it back in.

Maybe someone else will have an idea.

Have you had the reg pin assembly out?

They sometimes come apart which causes wierd leaks thru the vent holes.

no but i took it out to trouble shoot it and it looks like on the end of it there is a small white plastic ring it is cracked.

i cant find the part on there online store all it has is retro parts
