    A-5 E-gripe problem Please help!!!!

Just bought a new E-gripe for my a-5 and can't get it to fire properly!!!

It only fires intermittently. If I wait a few seconds it will fire. If I rapid fire it only clicks. It is brand new, what did I do wrong!!!! Very bummed.....

        Ha, yes I am!

I went back and am sure it is installed correctly. It is actually very simple to do.

Chances are just the battery is too low.

Only use a new high quality 9volt battery.

The cheap ones don't have enough juice to charge the capacitor quickly, even right out of the package.

Check the rod that trips the sear - do the ends look like they are beaten down? If so the rod might be too short. It doesn't take much.

              Battery

I used two new everready batteries. I thought for a second that was the problem as it seemed to work better with another brand new battery. Would you think that EVerready is an OK battery???

                    Everready is a horrible manufacturer.

                    Their batteries suck.

                      battery

Thanks P.B.. Just wish they had a better selector switch. Could it be any cheaper or harder to change?
